The Bay Area Coalition to Stop the FTAA is a broad
coalition of groups including large NGOs and small grassroots organizations,
as well as concerned citizens, who are adamantly opposed to the Free Trade
Area of the Americas Agreement, to Fast Track, and to the undemocratic
way that this agreement is currently being developed and drafted (that
is, in secret, with no public or congressional oversight, and with no information
or text available to the public).
